Linda Koenigsberg, Esq. is licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Florida. She graduated cum laude from the University of Miami undergraduate school in 1972, receiving a BA in English literature with a minor in education. She graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1976.
Ms. Koenigsberg has worked for litigants on both sides of the aisle (plaintiff and defendant), but the greater amount of her experience has been in the practice of insurance defense work. She was employed as house counsel for various major insurance companies and for several independent defense firms for many years, handling cases from inception to appeal. Her range of experience in that regard included construction defect defense, vehicular accidents, slip/trip and falls, premises liability, intentional torts, injuries inflicted by animals, legal malpractice, and other negligent and intentional torts. She has also had experience in commercial cases, contract disputes, foreclosure matters, real estate closings and litigation, medical malpractice, wills, probate, and a wide variety of other matters. She worked as a court mediator, has contributed her time to various pro bono clients, and had taught organizational concepts to lawyers, law office personnel and judges for several years together with a colleague through a Florida Bar accredited course entitled: Time is Money.
